There will be three main questions that panel discussion will try to answer:

Question 1: Lithuania is competing for the talent with countries such as Ireland, Netherlands, Italy, Estonia etc. Do we need IT specialists, entrepreneurs from third countries? How do they contribute to our economy and society? Should we all aim for Lithuania to become international startup hub?
Question 2: What are current immigration procedures? Are there existing problems with immigration processes? What are they?
Question 3: What are potential solutions, models, initiatives that would ease the process of entrepreneurial talent settling in Lithuania. Startup Visa? What models do other countries use and do they work?

PARTICIPANTS OF PANEL DISCUSSION:

1. Daniel Ray, CEO of Xylo. Originally from the United States, has lived in and established a business in several countries. He's been off and on in Lithuania for more than 10 years.
2. Edmundas Eddy Balčikonis, CEO and co-founder of TrackDuck. TrackDuck was established after a hackathon in Minsk, other two co-founders are Belarussian, now they all work in Vilnius, so Eddy has been dealing a lot with Lithuanian migration institutions.
3. Alisa Matsanyuk, founder and exCEO of Game Insight, founder of first Lithuanian makers space - Green Garage. Originally Lithuanian, was raised in Moscow and moved to Lithuania a year ago.
4. Jurgita Bliznikienė, Legal Manager, Games, Mobile Apps & other IT Industry Leader at Deloitte. Already 12 years assisting foreigners while receiving various kind of visas, work permits & temporary residence permits.
5. Lukas Savickas, Team Lead for Regulatory Affairs at Invest Lithuania, seeking investment environment improvements.
6. Mindaugas Glodas, General Manager at Venture Capital Fund Nextury Ventures. Nextury has been dealing with helping CIS entrepreneurs move to Lithuania.
7. Andzelika Rusteikiene, Head of Strategic Projects Development and Communications, Investors' Forum, working on improving the business climate for local and FDI investors in Lithuania.
